The Atlanta Falcons announced their initial 53-man roster on Tuesday afternoon. They’ve already made one change to that after signing former Cincinnati Bengals starter Isaiah Prince.
Once players cleared waivers at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, teams were free to sign available players to their 16-man practice squad.
The Falcons announced 14 players, all of which were with the team during training camp and were cut from the 90-man roster on Tuesday.

Defensive linemen Timmy Horne and LaCale London both shined in the preseason. That both of them were cut from the 53-man roster was a bit of a surprise.
Running back Godwin Igwebuike and wide receiver Zay Malone were two of the better offensive players for the Falcons in the preseason. That neither made the team is an indication of the depth of talent the Falcons have on offense compared to the past two seasons.
