Calvin Ridley Highlights – Atlanta Falcons 2020 Season

The NFL compiled a highlight package of the Atlanta Falcons’ Calvin Ridley from 2020 and punctuated it with the title “Calvin Ridley’s a WR1 too.”

With Julio Jones battling injuries last year, Ridley became the primary target for Matt Jones and had his most productive seasson.

The third year man out of Alabama had 90 catches, 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns to lead the Falcons. Ridley (26) was acquired via a first round draft pick (26th overall) by then general manager Thomas Dimitroff in 2018.

Through three seasons, Ridley has 3,061 yards and 26 touchdowns. Here’s a look at Calvin Ridley highlights from his 2020 season.

A healthy Jones in 2021 shouldn’t cut into Ridley’s production as much as one might think. Ridley’s rookie season saw him catch 64 passes for 821 yards, and he led the team in touchdown receptions with 10.

Jones had a monster season that year with 113 catches for 1,677 yards. The load should balance more in 2021 with both of them healthy.

Jones is close to etching his name high up the NFL record books, but a more balanced load with Ridley will help him prolong his career.
