Julio Jones in Elite Company

Despite being limited by injuries in the 2020 campaign, Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones remained in elite company measured across the past three seasons.

According to Pro Football Focus, Jones was one of only three receivers to finish with a Top 10 grade in each of the past three seasons. The others being Davante Adams of the Green Bay Packers and DeAndre Hopkins who played with the Arizona Cardinals in 2020 and the Houston Texans the two seasons prior.

Jones’ 51 catches in 2020 was the worst total of his career behind only his 41 catches in 2013 when he played only five games. Jones followed that season with 104 and 136 catches in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

Jones started just nine games in 2020, but still posted 51 catches for 771 yards. He had 99 catches for 1,394 yards in 2019 and 113 for 1,677 yards in 2018.

His 12,896 yards ranks 20th all-time in the NFL, but he’s poised to make a big jump in 2021. Jones has averaged nearly 1,300 yards per season in Atlanta, and if he matches that number in 2021, he’ll move ahead of Andre Johnson and in to 11th place all-time.

Even 500 yards would move him in to 16th place ahead of Torry Holt.
