The Atlanta Falcons secondary will get a boost this weekend against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday as cornerback Jordan Miller is set to return from injury according to a report by Orlando Ledbetter.
Miller was placed on the injured list on November 8th after suffering an oblique injury.
It’s been a rocky start for the second-year man out of Washington. Miller was suspended four games during his rookie season for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substance policy. The former 5th round pick still managed to play in 10 games in 2019.
Miller had appeared in one game this season before being placed on the injured list, recording a tackle against the Packers in Week Four. The timing for Miller’s return was good as Kendall Sheffield missed Wednesday’s practice with illness.
The Falcons are home on Sunday against the Saints at 1:00 PM.
