Justin Fields, Ohio State
Atlanta Falcons News NFL Draft

The Atlanta Falcons are Serious about Justin Fields

Former Harrison High School quarterback Justin Fields is getting a good look from the Atlanta Falcons.

The former Ohio State standout has his second pro day in Columbus today, and the Falcons will be well represented.

General manager Terry Fontenot, head coach Arthur Smith, and offensive coordinator Dave Ragone attended his first pro day.

Today, quarterback coach Charles London and wide receiver coach Dave Brooks will be joined by one of the Falcons’ scouts to see Fields.

While Matt Ryan is still a plus quarterback in the NFL, he’ll be 36 years old heading into the 2021 season. Justin Fields is an elite prospect who has ties to the local community.

The pick makes sense. If he’s available at #4, Justin Fields should be the pick.

The Atlanta Falcons are doing their due diligence. If he’s available and they pass on him, it won’t be because they haven’t given him a hard look.
