The Atlanta Falcons confirmed Interview with Brad Holmes for General Manager

While much of the focus in recent days has been on the Falcons search for its new head coach, the vacant General Manager position is equally, if not more important to fill for the Falcons.

The Falcons confirmed they have conducted an interview with Brad Holmes of the LA Rams. Holmes is the director of college scouting for the Rams, and has for the most part been a Rams lifer. He has been with the Rams for the better part of the last two decades working his way up through the scouting ranks.

As director of college scouting, Holmes lived in Atlanta for three years while heading up the scouting department, and his influence was instrumental in getting players from the talent rich south like Alex Ogletree (Georgia), Todd Gurley (Georgia), and Cam Akers (Florida State).

Holmes captained a National Championship team at North Carolina A&T in 1999.
