The Atlanta Falcons Schedule Released Today

The Atlanta Falcons know they will play a game in London, but they’ll find out the details of their entire schedule tonight.

The NFL coming off the draft is looking for programming and have turned the schedule release into a three hour show. It seems like something that can be handled with a 10 second tweet, but with the NFL, never let an opportunity go unexploited.

The Falcons coming off of a 4-12 season will get a relatively easy draw on paper as the league tries to reward the teams that failed to live up to exceptions last year with easier schedules.”his year.

One of the Falcons home games will be played in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the north side of the city. The stadium is home to an English Premier League team of the same name who has a reputation for not being able to finish games. Blow a big lead in England and they call it “Spursy.”

A close eye will be on the dates for the NFC South matchups as the Falcons will play Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers twice.

A new look New Orleans Saints, sans Drew Brees, will be on the schedule two times as well.

Fans can tune in to watch the three hour show tonight to see the entire league schedule at 8:00 PM EST on NFL Network. It might make for decent dual screening while watching the Braves or Hawks play tonight.

Is the schedule release something you feel compelled to watch for three hours? Why or Why Not? I’d love to hear your answers in the comments below.
